Exams / Cleanings

Visiting our office every six months gives you the chance to talk to the Doctor about any questions you may have about your oral health. Regular six month preventative appointments will take about 45 minutes. Each preventative visit includes a detailed teeth cleaning, in which the Hygenist will clean, polish, and floss your teeth, dental x-rays, and an exam by the Doctor. The exam by the Doctor includes assessing the health of your teeth, gums and an oral cancer evaluation.

Sealants

Sometimes brushing is not enough, especially when it comes to those hard-to-reach spots in your mouth. It is difficult for your toothbrush to get in-between the small cracks and grooves on your teeth. If left alone, those tiny areas can develop tooth decay. Sealants give your teeth extra protection against decay and help prevent cavities.

Extractions

Although permanent teeth were meant to last a lifetime, there are times when it is necessary to remove a tooth to preserve or improve your oral health. Extraction of a tooth is a surgical procedure but can be completed in an outpatient setting with minimal discomfort.

PEdiatric Care

Starting children with dental care early is important to build healthy habits for the rest of their lives. We have a welcoming and friendly environment to make your child feel comfortable.

Mouth guards

Well-fitted mouth guards prevent violent contact between teeth, which can result in soft tissue tears, tooth or bone fractures, concussions and more. Sporting activities contribute a large portion of all dental injuries, which it is why it is important we wear a mouth guard when participating in sports.

Fillings

A filling repairs and restores the surface of a tooth that has been damaged by decay, fracture, or wear. White (composite) material is used to make the filling aesthetic.

Fluoride

Fluoride is a natural mineral that builds strong, healthy teeth. It prevents cavities, supports healthy tooth enamel and fights the bacteria that harm teeth and gums. A fluoride treatment in your dentist’s office takes just a few minutes. Depending on your oral health or your Doctor’s recommendation, you may be required to have a fluoride treatment every three, six, or twelve months.

Implants

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth. If you are missing teeth, it is crucial to replace them. Without all your teeth, chewing and eating can destabilize your bite and cause you discomfort. When teeth are missing, your mouth can shift and even cause your face to look older. Implants are a great way to replace your missing teeth, and if properly maintained, can last a lifetime!

Root Canals

An endodontic treatment saves a severely injured, cracked, or decayed tooth when its pulp becomes inflamed or infected. If it is not treated promptly, pain or a tooth abscess results. Endodontic treatment is also known as a "root canal."

Dentures

Dentures are natural-looking replacement teeth that are removable. If you are missing teeth, it is crucial to replace them. Without all your teeth, chewing and eating can destabilize your bite and cause you discomfort. When teeth are missing, your mouth can shift and even cause your face to look older. There are two types of dentures: full and partial. Full dentures are given to patients when all of the natural teeth have been removed. Partial dentures used to fill in where permanent teeth have been removed. Denture are a cost affective way to achieve a healthy smile.
